There is some new growth on some of the pea plants, but most of the pods have been damaged by frost. The clover has sprouted but has not grown much. We sowed this cover crop too late in the season.

A Food Growing Course
As Ireland's first eco-village is being built in Cloughjordan, 11 people meet once a week to learn how to grow food. This year long course is the beginning of one of the educational cornerstones of the eco-village, where small scale intensive gardens are the focus of research, education and demonstration. The project begins with three separate allotment plots being managed using three different gardening methodologies.
