This plant has been really damaged by the caterpillars! Each week we destroy all that we can find, but more take their place.
Substantial sections of most of the leaves have been eaten.

A Food Growing Course
As Ireland's first eco-village is being built in Cloughjordan, 11 people meet once a week to learn how to grow food. This year long course is the beginning of one of the educational cornerstones of the eco-village, where small scale intensive gardens are the focus of research, education and demonstration. The project begins with three separate allotment plots being managed using three different gardening methodologies.
