Most of what we have harvested recently from this bed is stunted and poor tasting. It hasn't been getting much attention, except as the subject of lessons on how to make this type of gardening more productive.

A Food Growing Course
As Ireland's first eco-village is being built in Cloughjordan, 11 people meet once a week to learn how to grow food. This year long course is the beginning of one of the educational cornerstones of the eco-village, where small scale intensive gardens are the focus of research, education and demonstration. The project begins with three separate allotment plots being managed using three different gardening methodologies.
