Eight weeks after sowing the grass has sprouted, and the clover in the paths is growing as well, but there is no sign of the vetch and clover that was planted as part of the Landsberger mix.

A Food Growing Course
As Ireland's first eco-village is being built in Cloughjordan, 11 people meet once a week to learn how to grow food. This year long course is the beginning of one of the educational cornerstones of the eco-village, where small scale intensive gardens are the focus of research, education and demonstration. The project begins with three separate allotment plots being managed using three different gardening methodologies.
